Three little trains, one and the same family team: Carnac, Vannes and Quiberon.

Our story

The story of one family and three towns of the Morbihan

From Carnac to Quiberon by way of Vannes, the same family-run team shows off the Morbihan aboard its little trains. Here is our story, what drives us, and the promise we keep on every departure.

Travellers aboard a little tourist train in Morbihan

Our story

One family, three towns, one and the same passion

It all began in Quiberon, in 1986, facing the Côte Sauvage. A close-knit family launched its first little train there with a simple idea: to discover the Morbihan differently, effortlessly, at a strolling pace, taking the time to really look.

The success was such that we had to carry on. Carnac and its standing stone alignments followed in 1987, then Vannes, the medieval town, joined the adventure in 1990. Three towns, three faces of the Morbihan, linked by the same way of travelling.

To this day, the same family is at the helm. Behind every ride, the same team welcomes, drives and tells the story: that's what makes the same care, the same smile and the same love of a good story turn up everywhere.

Our little trains are colourful and comfortable: you discover the towns effortlessly, at a strolling pace and with respect for the places you pass through — from the menhirs of Carnac to the ramparts of Vannes.

On board, the commentary is lively and available in many languages — up to 22 in Vannes — with versions designed for children. We don't recite a guidebook: we share a land we love, for families and travellers from afar alike.

Across the three towns, more than 8,000 travellers leave us a review every year, with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5. It's our finest reward — and the promise we strive to keep on every departure.

Why we do it

“Making people love the Morbihan, one ride at a time.”

We don't sell a trip: we offer a moment — the one where a town quietly tells its story, at eye level. That's true in Carnac, Vannes and Quiberon, and it always will be.
